The Department of International Cooperation and Academic Mobility is an administrative division of University, which carries out the entire range of organizational and technical measures to establish and develop international cooperation in the field of academic, research and educational work.

Functions of the Department of international cooperation and academic mobility:

- establishing partnerships with foreign universities and research institutes that meet the interests of strategic development of the University;

- formation of a positive image of the University in the international market of educational services;

- assistance in the formation of a project team to support the reform of the University in terms of selecting candidates and inviting foreign experts to the top management of the University;

-expansion of cooperation with the world's leading research universities and research and production centers and conclusion of international agreements (treaties, memoranda) ;

- export of educational services of the University;

- cooperation and maintenance of contacts with diplomatic missions, embassies and cultural National Centers of foreign states;

- ensuring the holding of representative events - reception of official foreign delegations;

- implementation of visa support, keeping migration records of foreign citizens arriving in Kazakhstan at the invitation of the University (foreign specialists, teaching staff, applicants, students);

- assistance in resettlement of newly arrived foreign citizens to study, work or conduct scientific research at the University;

- Assistance in organizing the activities of foreign offices and branches of universities in University;

- establishing business contacts with foreign partner universities in order to organize and implement joint and double diploma educational programs;

- Conclusion of agreements with domestic and foreign partner universities in order to organize and implement programs of internal and external academic mobility of students, faculty and scientists of University;

-to establish business contacts and invite foreign scientists and teachers to conduct lectures and practical classes in University together with the faculties of the University;

- formation of a reserve of scientific and pedagogical workers, specialists, teaching staff and students for the implementation of internal and external academic mobility;

- Organization of teaching Chinese in cooperation with the Department of foreign languages of the Faculty of Humanities and who of the University;

- organization and holding of events with foreign partners on training modern methods and technologies of education;

- conducting joint scientific conferences, seminars, forums with foreign partners;

- Assistance to the teaching staff and scientists of University for internships on the basis of foreign scientific organizations and universities;

-Assistance to the teaching staff and scientists of University to participate in international academic and research projects and programs.
