The Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University has been cooperating with the University of Applied Sciences Weienstephan-Triesdorf in the field of agricultural management for many years.

Every year, accrding to the German-language dual degree program, KATRU students of the last year of study take part in a program of theoretical and practical training in leading farms and enterprises in Germany. During the practical semester, from May to October, students practice at agricultural enterprises, and also attend seminars where they study the following disciplines: animal husbandry, crop production, agricultural machinery, production economics and business management. After the practical semester, students take exams for admission to the Weienstephan-Triesdorf Master's degree and the Master's degree in Agricultural Management.

Moreover, teachers and staff of Weienstephan-Triesdorf come to our university to conduct classes.

Since 2018, Georg Schauer, Associate Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Weienstephan-Triesdorf, comes 2 times a year in the 1st and 2nd semesters. So, during this visit, he conducted classes from 04/22/2024 to 04/26/2024 at the Faculty of Economics at the Department of Management and Marketing. Classes were held in the form of seminars on the economics of production for undergraduates of the 1st year of "Agricultural Management". Interested persons were also present at the lesson. Business meetings were also held in various formats with the management of our university. Thus, new ways of intense cooperation were proposed, in particular, the invitation of existing farmers in the livestock industry whose farms are the bases for training of our students to visit Germany.
